DP Seals, one of the UK's foremost suppliers of precision custom rubber seals and mouldings, has launched a website specifically to aid developers of sub-sea components. The new website is underpined by examples from world-leading component suppliers with information on how the company works closely with design engineers and the esoteric materials needed to survive the demands of this environment.
DP Seals has been working with leading sub-sea cabling system producers such as Expro Tronic and SEACON (Europe) for over 10 years. In that time it has helped these companies develop the complex rubber seals, glands and boots that combine to ensure the efficient operation of wet-mate, dry-mate and wellhead feedthrough connectors used in oil and gas exploration and production, sub-sea cable networks, and so forth.
